Bienvenidos, mis amores! Welcome to Yerba Bella. My name is Maria Cristina Gutierrez-Boswell and thank you for visiting my site. Yerba Bella means “Beautiful Herb.” All herbs are beautiful because all herbs have a purpose for our health and well-being. I come from a long line of Curanderas (Mexican Folk Healers) and warrior women from the southwest border of Texas and Mexico. I want to share the ancient knowledge of health and healing using the seasons, the conditions of those seasons, and how plants and herbs relieve our bodies, minds, and emotional well-being. Also, coming soon, will be my own skincare line named for my foremothers who invoked the spirits of mother earth to protect and heal.
